World Breastfeeding Week

World Breastfeeding Week

World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year from August 1-August 7 all around the world to encourage breastfeeding and improve the health of babies globally. This year's theme is about how breastfeeding is "a key element in getting us to think about how to value our wellbeing from the start of life and how to respect each other and care for the world we share."

Breastfeeding is the best way to provide infants with the nutrients they need for healthy growth and brain development. It also offers protection from respiratory infections, obesity and non-communicable diseases. The WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding starting within one hour after birth until a baby is six months old. Nutritious complementary foods should then be added while continuing to breastfeed for up to two years.

As we are big believers of the saying “whatever you eat, your child eats too!” We, at Right Bite, have designed the Balanced Mom program specifically for mommys-to-be and breastfeeding mothers. Loaded with wholesome goodness and nutritious foods, Balanced Mom helps take the stress off what to eat during pregnancy and breastfeeding in a smart, healthy and convenient way and meets all your nutrition requirements while keeping your weight under control.

To get started on our Balanced Mom program, call us now on 04-3425208 and book your appointment.
